With ever-advancing digital video technology making its way into the hands of amateur and professional filmmakers alike, movie-making is slowly becoming less an exclusive club and more a universal form of expression. There are more independent film festivals than ever and attendance is at an all-time high.
The forward-thinking folks at ANBEAN have recognized the public’s growing interest in indie and experimental film and have developed the cutting-edge film festivel, ART BY CHANCE, a brand new “ultra short film festival” that premiered in May-June-July 2009 in 13 countries and in over 70 cities around the world. An estimated 1 billion people worldwide witnessed the festival in some way or another.
The second annual ART BY CHANCE Film Festival will take place in May 2010 in a number of countries and cities around the world again. This year, the theme is TIME.
The festival organizers intend to explore how the perception of time is unique to every individual and how that perception influences the narrative of city life, “one of modern man’s greatest challenges.” Visit the ART BY CHANCE website to learn how you can participate!
