“Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” is the big movie Disney will be banking on next year and they’ve already geared up the hype machine.

The first UK film posters have been released over at Empire and they are a little different than you might expect. Less in your face, explosive, you gotta see this type of marketing; more artful and contemplative. It is yet to be seen if the movie will mimic this tone, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Based on the massively popular series of video games, the film will star Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Sir Ben Kingsley, Alfred Molina, and is to be directed by Mike Newell.

Set for a May 28, 2010 release.
