Alejandro Jodorowsky’s strange and unique, “King Shot” is sure to turn heads.
The $7.4m film was announced in Cannes last year as a “metaphysical spaghetti western,” and will star Nick Nolte, Udo kier, and Marilyn Manson, says Screen Daily.
In addition to the strange cast, the film has an unusually international pedigree with an Italian partner boarding the film, shooting to take place in Spain in early October, Hungarian , French, and American producers, a Chilean director, and American actors.
“King Shot” marks Jodorowsky’s return to directing after a 20 year absence. The auteur has reached cult status in Chile thanks to his previous works like, “Santa Sangre,” “El Topo,” and “The Holy Mountain.”
