Michael Moore’s long awaited new documentary finally has a title: “Capitalism: A Love Story.”
The film will reportedly be a scathing indictment of America’s big business culture, and is set for an Oct. 2 release.
The distributor, Overture Films, says “Capitalism” examines the terrible effects of corporate profiteering.
“It will be the perfect date movie,” Moore said. “It’s got it all — lust, passion, romance and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day. It’s a forbidden love, one that dare not speak its name. Heck, let’s just say it: It’s capitalism.”
Moore is best know for his 1989 big-business documentary “Roger & Me,” 2004′s “Fahrenheit 9/11,” his $100 million hit which focused on the Bush White House’s actions after the Sept. 11 attacks, and his Academy Award-winning look at gun control, “Bowling for Columbine.”
