Roger Donaldson, known for his direction of “The Bank Job,” 1987′s “No Way Out,” and “The Recruit,” which starred Al Pacino and Colin Farrell, is currently in talks with Relativity Media to helm thriller, “Umbra,” Variety reports.

Hal Lieberman is set to produce with Relativity’s Ryan Kavanaugh and Tucker Tooley joining him.

“Umbra” is being described as a “paranoid thriller” but no specific plot details have been released.

The screenplay comes from a Steven Karczynski spec that Lieberman and Brian Paschal further developed and brought to Relativity. It has also been reported that Paschal may have some producing responsibilities.
