Tony Scott’s new drama with Fox, “Unstoppable,” hit a snag a couple of weeks ago when long-time collaborator, Denzel Washington, pulled out of the project. But it looks like the film may just live up to its name.
Variety reports that Washington has is back on track to star in the pic. Pre-production has already resumed in Pittsburgh.
Mark Bomback’s script, based on true events, centers on a veteran engineer who leaps into a locomotive with a young conductor (“Star Trek’s” Chris Pine) to stop an unmanned runaway train loaded with toxic cargo.
